On 14 December, the new series “Mission Canada” was released on Robert Marc Lehmann’s YouTube channel.
Under the motto ‘Everything is connected’, we explore the wild nature of the British Columbia coastline together and show that absolutely everything is interconnected. Every single animal – from salmon and orcas to grizzly bears, wolves and eagles – plays its part in preserving entire ecosystems.
That’s why we’ve set ourselves a major goal: together, we want to save 1 million square metres of temperate primary rainforest for good.
Following last night’s opening episode featuring grizzly bears, six more episodes about the old-growth forests of western Canada will follow over the next two weeks.
Following the successful “Mission Peru”, this is already the second major series featuring the marine biologist, environmentalist, photographer and filmmaker from “Mission Earth”.
Everything is connected
Grown over 1,000 years, felled in 5 minutes?
We spent over two weeks travelling along the Gikumi, covering over 900 km, to save the old-growth forests of western Canada from clear-cutting and thus protect the habitat of their unique wildlife. You can look forward to spectacular footage, some dangerous adventures and a few tears.
