The Wacken Open Air Festival aims to protect 4 million square metres of old-growth forest in Peru
This area corresponds to the size of the festival site. Together with the community, the aim is to preserve primary rainforest in the Peruvian Amazon as a habitat for biodiversity and to help maintain a healthy climate.
