That’s a wrap!! We’re still speechless, overwhelmed and over the moon! What began in June with the hosts of this livestream and an expedition to our conservation areas in Canada culminated on 17 November 2024 in a six-hour livestream on YouTube and Twitch:
Together with the participating creators, all the guests on the stream and your overwhelming support, we were able to protect 100,000 m2 of rainforest for ever!
I’ve been really looking forward to YouTopia for ages! My personal highlight was seeing how all the creators and partners stood behind the project with such conviction and were truly passionate about protecting the rainforest. Some bombarded me with curious questions, whilst others had a real twinkle in their eyes when I told them about our expeditions to the conservation areas – behind the scenes, the atmosphere was simply brilliant!
Whether it’s a ‘shaved head alert’ at the hairdresser’s, exciting game challenges such as smashing vases and then putting them back together, a quiz with electric shocks, or when Ronny Berger builds Lego tree models with experts, tasting resin and bathing in mulch – there was always entertaining information about the rainforest and nature conservation. And together, we reached thousands of viewers across 10 channels!
We’re so grateful for the support from all of you who watched from home and donated to the rainforest.
Grateful for so many famous faces who, on a Sunday, gave it their all with plenty of fun, energy and creativity to support old-growth forest protection and raise funds through this game show!
