Become a nature conservation partner

Preserving habitats for ever as a business

With you as a team

We are convinced that partnerships have many positive effects on the sustainable development of our world. Does your company want to take responsibility for its actions and play an active part in safeguarding the future of our planet? Then become a nature conservation partner of Wilderness International and join us in establishing your company’s forest.

Your own corporate forest

As a partner of Wilderness International, you can symbolically establish your own corporate forest and, in doing so, help to protect the rainforest for all time.

You are free to decide whether your plot of land should be located within our protected area in Peru or in Canada. Through various initiatives, you can help your forest to grow in size.

An overview of the path to partnership

Every collaboration is unique. This is what a typical partnership process looks like for us

“For us, what made this collaboration so special was the personal touch – the fact that we could simply pick up the phone and speak to someone who is passionate about what they do and why they do it. The people at Wilderness International are, first and foremost, conservationists.”

    SDG 6 – Water & Sanitation

The rainforest is a vital part of global water cycles. Your protected rainforest therefore helps to preserve clean water.

    SDG 12 – Consumption

Thanks to donations, we are able to focus our communication and environmental education efforts in such a way that patterns of consumption and production are understood, scrutinised and, ideally, improved. One tool we use for this is the CO2 calculator.
  • SDG 13: Green poster with white eye icon containing Earth and white text

    SDG 13 – Climate Action

Every square metre of rainforest stores around 60 kg of carbon dioxide. Protecting the ecosystem immediately prevents potential emissions. This so-called REDD project is a key pillar of sustainable climate protection.

SDG 15 – Life on Land

Protecting terrestrial ecosystems can prevent soil degradation, combat desertification and slow down the loss of biodiversity. The conservation of protected areas therefore has an impact on sustainable life on land, both locally and globally.

    SDG 17 – Partnerships

Partnerships have a positive impact on sustainable development: they bring together a wide range of expertise and facilitate the exchange of knowledge, enable the shared use of resources, promote innovation, increase reach, reduce risk, and so on.
