Why should your company donate to environmental causes?

  • specifically, to preserve a piece of unspoilt nature for the long term
  • Transparent donations with a tangible impact
  • Increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Show a commitment to the future

Your donation goes towards this SDG

  • UN Sustainable Development Goal 6 icon for clean water and sanitation featuring a water glass and droplet on turquoise background.

    SDG 6 – Water & Sanitation

The rainforest is a vital part of global water cycles. Your protected rainforest therefore helps to preserve clean water.
  • SDG 12 icon: Gold infinity symbol with arrow representing sustainable consumption and production

    SDG 12 – Consumption

Thanks to donations, we are able to focus our communication and environmental education efforts in such a way that patterns of consumption and production are understood, scrutinised and, ideally, improved. One tool we use for this is the CO2 calculator.
  • SDG 13: Green poster with white eye icon containing Earth and white text

    SDG 13 – Climate Action

Every square metre of rainforest stores around 60 kg of carbon dioxide. Protecting the ecosystem immediately prevents potential emissions. This so-called REDD project is a key pillar of sustainable climate protection.
  • SDG 15 Life on Land: Green icon featuring tree, clouds, and birds on bright green background

SDG 15 – Life on Land

Protecting terrestrial ecosystems can prevent soil degradation, combat desertification and slow down the loss of biodiversity. Preserving these protected areas therefore has an impact on sustainable life on land, both locally and globally.

We have been confirmed as effective.

The Phineo ‘It Works!’ seal confirms that our work has a demonstrable impact and that we are an effective and transparent organisation.

As a corporate donor, you can therefore be confident that your contribution will be put to effective use by us.
