Initiatives and projects

During our environmental conservation expeditions, we visit our rainforest conservation areas in small teams both before and after purchase. We do this for scientific research, environmental education projects and media documentation, as well as to capture drone footage and ensure transparency regarding how your donations are used.

As well as our long-term projects and regular events, we also organise numerous smaller and larger initiatives. These include tree-planting campaigns in Dresden, a totem pole in Cologne and a mulled wine stall at the Berlin Christmas market. The focus is always on preserving nature.

We put our major initiative – international wilderness conservation – into practice every day through a wide range of projects, whether it be researching new and existing protected areas or the work of our forest guardians. But our day-to-day work also includes collaborating with schools on environmental education and wilderness runs, as well as local initiatives such as tree-planting campaigns.
